About Cousins Family Law
The Cousins Process is designed to bring structure, clarity, and calm to what can otherwise feel like an overwhelming experience. From the first conversation, the firm focuses on understanding each client’s circumstances, priorities, and concerns—both legal and personal—before recommending a path forward.
Early screening and a strategy-focused consultation help ensure that expectations are aligned and that decisions are made with a clear understanding of the financial, parenting, and long-term implications involved. Once representation begins, the emphasis is on careful planning and preparation. Financial information is analyzed, objectives are refined, and a thoughtful strategy is developed with an eye toward efficient resolution whenever possible and strong advocacy when litigation is necessary.
Throughout the process, clients can expect steady communication, measured guidance, and a deliberate approach designed to reduce unnecessary conflict. Even after a case is resolved, the firm remains available to assist with follow-up needs, modifications, or future planning—supporting clients as they move forward with confidence and stability.
